About

Sabrina J. is one of the founding students in Vista High School’s Personalized Learning Academy, which is in year 2 of development.  She is high preforming senior that has dedicated a majority of her time to improving education for the future.

Sabrina served as an avid member on the Vista High School’s XQ Super School Grant proposal team. The XQ Super School Grant was designed to have high schools throughout the nation reimagine high school in order to meet the needs of their students, provide them with necessary life skills and give them more opportunities than before. Through the hard work and dedication of several teachers, students and administrators Vista High School became an XQ Super School, winning $10,000,000 dollars to make our ideas a reality.

Sabrina is also an administrative intern over at Vista Innovation and Design Academy, a middle school dedicated to design thinking. This is her second year working at VIDA; however, this year her experience with XQ lead her to take her internship outside of the classroom to learn about administration.

She hopes on one day becoming a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics teacher for middle school. Moreover, Sabrina just wants to inspire children to reach their potential, be creative and explore their interests since experience and motivation are key to success.
